[Class 44] An adjustable striking- plate consists of two parts f, g, part g carrying the nose k and being secured to the frame a in front of the part f which is adjustable and provides the abutment h for the bolt when shot. Part f has inclined slots n engaged by screws m passing through parts f, g into frame a. A slot j on the frame a provides access to the part f for adjusting it.
