Abstract

503,901. Diaphragms; stereoscopic photography. ZEISS IKON AKT.-GES. Sept. 20, 1938, No. 27459. Convention date, Sept. 21, 1937. [Classes 97 (i), 98 (i), and 98 (ii)] A diaphragm for two spaced objectives, particularly the objectives of a stereoscopic camera, consists of two coaxial apertured discs rotatable in opposite senses. As shown, the discs 3, 6 are rotatable about an axis 11 lying between the objectives 1, 2, the disc 3 having openings 4, 8 and the disc 6 having openings 5, 7. The discs are rotated by a gear wheel 9 which drives the disc 6 directly and the disc 3 through a gear wheel 10.
