501,426. Rouges; making - up substances. VICKI, F. J. May 18, 1937, No. 13842. Void. Convention date, May 16, 1936. [Class 81 (i)] A rouge or making-up substance is constituted by a consolidated or compacted mixture of one or more fatty and one or. more waxy materials having a slightly hard and friable consistency, and may contain one or more soluble or insoluble colouring matters. The substance is preferably contained in a cup of small thickness disposed in a casing fitted with a mirror and defining a recess for a pad by which the substance is applied. According to an example, the following ingredients are melted, mixed together and allowed to consolidate: paraffin, " Vaseline (Registered Trade Mark insoluble colouring matters, camauba wax, "Vaseline" oil, and soluble colouring matters such as eosin or rhodamine. Amongst the component materials which can be used are glycol stearates, coconut butter and polyglycol.
