Abstract

A remedy for skin diseases is prepared by mixing a concentrated extract of pyrethrum powder in petroleum ether with a distillate of perilla nankinensis (containing about 50 per cent perilla aldehyde), incorporating in a base of petrolatum or hard or soft paraffin, adding an aromatic oil such as wintergreen oil, pine oil, eucalyptus oil, menthol and camphor and triturating. Boric acid and also japanese pepper may be added. Specifications 390,971 and 447,949 are referred to.
