498,074. Electrically heated cushions &c. BLAIKIE, E. R. Sept. 29, 1937, No. 26375. [Class 39 (iii)] The heating element in a cushion, blanket, pad or the like comprises looped cords 1, 2 wound in spiral form with the loops 4, 3 near the middle and the free ends b, b<1>, a, a<1> at the outside. The ends a<1>, b<1> are connected together and a multiple-way switch is provided for varying the connections. The cords may be of different resistance. Thermostats may be provided.
