497,633. Cooling rear engines of motor vehicles. ZAVODY RINGHOFFER-TATRA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST. July 28, 1938, No. 22523. Convention date, Aug. 12, 1937. [Class 79 (iii)] In a rear-engined motor vehicle with an open streamlined body, the partition 3 behind the rear passenger seats is of approximately the height of the windscreen 2 in front of the driver and is provided with openings 5 through which air flowing over the windscreen passes into the engine chamber 4 to cool the engine.
