Abstract
Transparent thermoplastic resins, insoluble in acids and alkalies, are prepared by carrying out the reaction described in the parent Specification in the presence of elementary sulphur. The product may be emulsified in aqueous media, e.g. alkali lye, water, or viscose and the emulsion added to cellulose hydrate spinning solutions. In examples, ethyleneimine, polyethyleneimine, N-benzylethyleneimine, or 1 : 2-propyleneimine are reacted with solutions of sulphur in carbon disulphide.
