Abstract
494,589. Kinematograph apparatus. KODAK, Ltd. April 27, 1937, No. 12051. Convention date, May 16, 1936. [Class 97 (i)] The film magazine is held in operative position by a spring-pressed plate retractable by the action of the lock of the cover of the magazine chamber. As shown the magazine 7 is pressed against the block 9 containing the objective and exposure aperture, by a plate 27 pivoted on a rod 28 and controlled by a spring 29 thereon. The plate 27 is engaged by studs 32, 47 on a sliding bar 30 serving to lock the cover 6 so that on moving the bar 30 to the left to lock the cover, the plate 27, under the action of the spring 29 and stud 47, presses the magazine into its exposure position. On releasing the latch the stud 32 moves the plate 27 to permit removal of the magazine. Specifications 494,590, 494,591, and 494,592 are referred to.
