Abstract

489,250. Vibratory mechanism. AKTIEBOLAGET VIBRO-BETONG. Sept. 18, 1937, No. 25349. Convention date, Oct. 1, 1936. [Class 80. (iv)] In devices of the kind in which a weighted body rolls on a surface of revolution formed on a member to be vibrated, the former has the form of a conical pendulum 1 and is adapted to be actuated by a flexible shaft 7. The surface of revolution may be either external, Fig. 4, or internal, Fig. 5, to the weight 3. The casing 4 may be attached to an appliance to be vibrated. A device in which the relative frequencies of vibration of the pendulum and casing may be varied has conical surfaces 3a, 4a, Fig. 11 ; or the pendulum may be shaped to engage a V-shaped groove in the casing. The invention is specially intended for use in internal high-frequency vibrators for setting concrete.
