[Class 98 (ii)] A multi-layer material comprises next to the support a red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a colour former which is fast to diffusion and yields a blue image by colour development, above this a green sensitive layer containing a colour former which is fast to diffusion and yields a red image, and above this a blue sensitive layer containing a colour former which is fast to diffusion and yields a yellow image. The colour formers may be those described in Specifications 458,400, 465,823, 479,838, 483,000, and 484,698. Suitable sensitizers are described in Specifications 480,778 and 483,548. Yellow and red filter gelatin layers may be included between the blue sensitive, green sensitive and red sensitive layers respectively. Alternatively, the yellow filter dyestuff may be incorporated wholly or in part in the blue sensitive layer. If the red sensitizer has a suitable gap in the green part of the sensitivity range, the red filter may be omitted. The material may be used in the negative-positive process and may be used for producing copies from any original. The support may be opaque and the pictures viewed by reflection.
