488,165. Self-aligning bearings. MAGNETOS LUCIFER SOC. ANON. Jan. 13, 1938, No. 1185. Convention date, Jan. 15, 1937. [Class 12 (i)] A self-aligning bearing comprises as shown a tubular body 4 and axle brasses 3 retained in spherical recesses 5 of the tube under the spring action of longitudinal end slits 6 so that they are easily changed. Rotation of the brasses is prevented by pressure alone or by notches 8 in sleeves 2 engaging with a projection 9 on the tube.
