[Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Groups XI and XIV] An electric lamp 14 is supported upon a base by a universal joint formed of two similar elongated blocks 7, 10 pivoted together by a bolt 8 at right-angles to the lamp stem 11, fixed in the block 10, and to a bolt 3 on which the. block 7 is rotatably mounted. Spring washers 15 are provided on the bolts 3, 8, and a spacer nut 5 and a locknut 6 on the bolt 3.
