487,572. Optical-projection apparatus. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES. Nov. 2, 1937, No. 30015. Convention date, Nov. 3, 1936. [Class 97 (i)] A filter absorbing substantially only the yellow rays is provided in an optical-projection apparatus ; the filter may consist of glass containing neodymium, and may be embodied in various positions. As shown, the filter 5 is removably carried in a slide 6 forming part of the condenser holder. It may, alternatively, be placed between the condenser lenses, may be cemented or welded to the condenser, or may be disposed in front of the gate. Neodymium glass may be used for the lamp bulb or for the condenser lenses, instead of providing a separate filter.
