486,053. Saddle supports. JERRAM, W. A. Aug. 18, 1937, No. 22644. [Class 136 (iii)] In an adjustable support for cycle saddles and seats, of the spring-controlled telescopic type enabling the rider to adjust the height of the saddle while the cycle is being ridden, the inner or saddlesupporting tube 2 is retained in its adjusted position by means of a handactuated plunger 4, which selectively engages holes or indents in the inner tube and is formed integral with a spring clip 5, the arms of which are slotted at 8 to engage retaining-pins 7 projecting from the outer tube 1. The support may be mounted as a separable unit in the seat tube of the frame, or the outer tube may constitute the frame seat tube.
