[Class 21] A closure for the bunghole of a cask &c. comprises a bushing 26 wholly of rubber &c. screwed into the bung-hole and adapted to be closed by a one-piece wooden plug 21. Recesses 29 facilitate the insertion of the bush by means of a tool having pegs, the threads of the bush being vulcanized and covered with wax or shellac. A domed metal seal 39 completes the closure. Specifications 236,733, [Class 21], and 483,923 are referred to.
