484,274. Containers for medicines; syringes. SPENSLEY, V. H. Sept. 23, 1937, No. 25845. [Classes 81 (i) and 81 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] A container for medicaments, for example a syringe ampoule, comprises a tube 5 having a closure plug 6 at one end and a slidable plug 9 at the other, the plug 9 having an off-centre protrusion formed for example by an inclined inner face, adapted, when the plug is pressed into the tube, to tilt one or more partitions 10 provided in the tube and permit liquids, pills, powders or like, isolated in the compartments formed by the partitions and the plug, to mix with the main contents of the tube. The plug 6 has an annular groove engaging the tube and a central aperture 7 closed by a metal disc 8. The plug 9 may be formed around a threaded shank for the attachment of a handle.
