[Class 138 (ii)] [Also in Group XIV] A stand to which a wringer may be detachably secured either in the operative or inoperative position comprises side members E and upper and lower transverse members e, e<1> provided with sockets e<2>, D to receive pegs a projecting downwardly from the wringer frame. Alternatively the pegs may be formed on the transverse members and the sockets on the wringer frame. Instead of the sockets or pegs being formed actually on the transverse members themselves they may be formed on brackets or lugs cast on or otherwise secured to the side frames of the stand or in brackets secured to the transverse members. A table cover F having similar pegs f or sockets is slidably supported by snugs f<1> cast on the side frames E to form a shelf when the wringer is in use or may be placed on the top transverse member e to form a table when the wringer is removed from this member.
