Abstract

472,513. Wringers. COTTINGHAM, R. F. Nov. 27, 1936, No. 32491. [Class 138 (ii)] A wringer is clamped to a bar 1 having projecting pins 2 which engage inclined slots 3 in brackets 4 secured to the side members of a frame arranged around the top of a washing- machine 5. The bar is also provided with other projecting pins 7 or bolts whereby, when the bar is swung from the position shown wherein the wringer hangs down behind the machine to one at 180‹ thereto wherein the wringer is in the operative position adjacent the mouth of the machine, the pins 7 engage notches 6 in the brackets and hold the wringer in the operative position. When the wringer is not in use the machine may be covered by a removable table top.
