Abstract

483,841. Television receivers. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and BLOCH, A. Nov. 6, 1936, No. 30272. [Class 40 (in)] The reproduced image at 1 is viewed through a filter 5 to reduce the light diffused at 1 relatively to the light originating at 1. The filter 6 may discriminate to favour the wavelengths of the light originating at 1, or it may be a grey plate which is traversed twice by light diffused at 1, but only once by light originating at 1 so that this latter suffers less absorption. A shield 4 preferably surrounds the filter 5, which may be a semi-transparent mirror set at 45‹ to the surface 1. Specification 450,313, [Group XX], is referred to.
