[Class 20 (ii)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A scaffold clamp or tubular joint comprises a central body 21 having semi-cylindrical recesses disposed at different angles to receive the scaffold tubes 34, 35, and hinged clamping members 29 for each tube, the clamping members and the grooves in the central body being provided with recesses 32 to receive shoulders 33 provided on the ends of the abutting tubular members 34, 35. The clamping members are secured by T-headed bolts 31 engaging open recesses in the central body.
