482,050. Serving beverages &c. from cans. BUSCHMAN, N. H. Sept. 22, 1936, No. 25764. Convention date, Sept. 25, 1935. [Class 66] A holder for a sealed can 13 containing a beverage &c. provided with means for opening the can and for serving the contents therefrom, comprises a casing 10 provided with a handle 12, a spout 11, and having a cover 24 hinged to the ears to which the spout is attached by rivets 34 passing through the walls of a channel member 27 secured to the underside of the cover. The channel member is open at the end projecting into the spout and the base is provided with a cutter 35 and is formed with an orifice 39, with depending lip portions 41 adapted to engage the can end 16, the orifice being of similar size to that made in the can end by the cutter when the lid is closed down. The casing body may be formed with inwardly-directed longitudinal corrugations adapted to engage the wall of the can.
