Abstract
481,810. Hand tools for piercing and scarifying lawns &c. STONEHAM, E. G. Sept. 23, 1936, No. 25814. [Class 6 (ii)] An implement for scarifying, aerating, and loosening the surface of a lawn comprises a block A which may be made of wood and through which are driven a number of nails B the heads of which are covered by a second block A<1> faced with a metal plate D. A handle socket C<1> is secured to the block A<1> and the two blocks are fastened together by screws d. Instead of being driven through the block A, the nails may be passed through holes made in the block. The nails can be removed after separating the blocks A, A<1>.
