523,642. Handles. NEEDHAM, VEALL, & TYZACK, Ltd., and BRANT, H. E. Jan. 12, 1939, No. 1003. [Class 61 (i)] A knife blade 1 is adjustably secured to the handle 2 so as to extend more or less therefrom by means of clamping bolts 4 engaging slots 3 or series of holes in the blade tang or by means of a single clamping bolt engaging a slot or series of apertures and an additional slot or slots engaging one or more rivets or studs for maintaining the blade in alignment.
