[Class 83 (iii)] A guide tube a for feeding the rotary stock bar f to a lathe comprises a number of barsupporting collars c which are resiliently mounted within the tube by means of helical springs d located between the collars and recessed sleeves b fixed in the tube. The tube is closed by members e and is supported on adjustable stands g. The collars may be of metallic or non-metallic material.
