Abstract

480,938. Roundabouts. STANZEL, V. Sept. 7, 1937, No. 24394. [Class 132 (i)] An amusement device comprises a stand 1, a beam 8 mounted to revolve thereon, ballast tanks 9, 13, at opposite ends of the beam, a passenger ship 17 rotatably mounted adjacent the tank 13, and means, such as a reversible electric pump, for shifting ballast liquid from one tank to another. The beam 8 is mounted, preferably, at an angle of 45‹ to the vertical and separate units 17, 18 of the passenger car are rotated about an axle 15 by means of an electric motor, while the beam 8 swings round in a plane at 45‹ to the vertical.
