Abstract
Moulding-powders comprise fluorspar meal and sufficient synthetic resin to give a non-porous moulding. Other fillers may also be present. Suitable synthetic resins include phenol-, urea- and thiourea - aldehyde condensates. In an example, a moulding powder comprises fluorspar meal, phenol-novalak resin, hexamethylenetetramine and dyes.
