475,643. Wireless receiving-apparatus. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. July 24, 1937, No. 20547. Convention date, July 27, 1936. [Class 40 (v)] In a radio receiver in which automatic tuning is effected over a band of frequencies of any desired width by a motor 8 driving the tuning means, the motor being controlled from a frequency sensitive device 7 coupled to the intermediate frequency amplifier, remote control of tuning is obtained by manually varying the frequency of a local oscillator 9, the output from which is applied to one of the high-frequency circuits of the receiver thus controlling the tuning system.
