475,392. Supply systems for consumption apparatus; starting prime movers. GIL, J. V., and KOHLER CO., Ltd. Oct. 10, 1936, No. 7728/37. Divided out of 475,378. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (iv)] In a self-contained electric generating system adapted to start and stop automatically in response to load requirements and including a generator with series and shunt field windings which supply the load circuit directly and a battery of lower voltage which is used for starting an internal combustion engine driving the generator, an electric relay operated by current from the generator is provided for cutting off the fuel supply when the load is removed, the relay being restored to the supply setting after an interval sufficient to ensure stoppage of the engine. The drawing and the detailed description of the system are identical with that in Specification 475,378, but the claims differ.
