475,046. Television receivers. BAIRD TELEVISION, Ltd., MERDLER, L. R., and GILBERT, A. H. May 11, 1936, No. 13300. [Class 40 (iii)] A potential derived from the frame deflection oscillator during flyback periods is applied to the line deflection oscillator. Line and frame synchronizing signals 1, 2, Fig. 1 (Comp.), are received and the line synchronizing signals are isolated by a valve 1, Fig. 3 (Prov.), having a transformer 2 in its output controlling the line deflection oscillator 3. The signals applied to the oscillator 3 are found to be as in Fig. 2 (Comp.), the disturbance being due to the cessation of line synchronizing signals during the frame synchronizing signal. Another separating valve (not shown) applies frame synchronizing signals to control the frame deflection oscillator 5, whose output includes an inductance 5 which applies a pulse, as shown in Fig. 3 (Comp.), over condenser 6 to a grid of valve 1, so that the signals applied to oscillator 3 are corrected as shown in Fig. 4 (Comp.).
