[Class 7 (ii)] In an arrangement for dividing up a stream of fluid into separate streams, specially applicable to exhaust-silencers, the separate nozzle passages are formed partly by pocket-shaped arched or curved portions b, Fig. 1, of a wall a, and partly by a second wall d having apertures underlying the arched portion. In the form shown in Fig. 3, both wall parts are shaped to form nozzles i to direct the fiuid.
