467,674. Delivering measured quantities of liquids. BUTLER, S. A. V. Dec. 8, 1936, No. 35949/35. [Class 106 (v)] In a device for delivering measured quantities of liquids comprising a hollow tapered plug 7 forming a measuring chamber with inlet and outlet ports 10, 11 and an air vent 14 rotatable within a body 1 having inlet and outlet ports 2, 5 and an air vent 15, the rotation of the plug is limited by a pin 13 projecting into a gap 12 formed in the small end of the body and the air vents 14, 15 are arranged so as to permit the passage of air only when the plug is in the delivering position.
