456,177. Aircraft. JONES, T., Cwmbach, Pontyates, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire. July 9, 1935, No. 19602. [Class 4] An aircraft is lifted by the auto-rotation of wings 2, 4 about their longitudinal axis 3 which is set at a small positive angle to the fuselage axis x, x. The wings may be of S-shaped cross-section. Two sets of wings may be provided and means may be provided for initiating their rotation. In a modification, the axis 3 is adjustable within, e.g. 5‹ on either side of a mean position.
