Abstract

467,435. Head - sets. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and ROBERTON, J. S. P. Dec. 16, 1935, No. 34903. [Class 40 (iv)] In a telephone head-set more particularly for wireless reception, a head-band comprises at least one wire which is rotatably mounted in a supporting member which is also adapted to carry a receiver. The head-band is formed by wires 3, 4 rotatably mounted in blocks 1 and provided with sleeves 5, 6 to limit the longitudinal movement of the wires. Each receiver 9 is carried by the bent portions 2 of a loop 7, 8 which is slidable in the block 1. The line joining the holes engaged by the wires 3, 4 may be approximately parallel or perpendicular, Figs. 5, 6, 7 (not shown), to the plane of the loop 7, 8. The blocks 1 may be replaced by channel members, the flanges of which are pierced to receive the various wires as described in Specification 421,192.
