Abstract
466,930. Television. RADIOAKT.-GES. D. S. LOEWE. July 28, 1936, No. 20885. Convention date, July 29, 1935. [Classes 40 (iii) and 40 (v)] Frequencies, which are integral multiples of the desired frequencies, control the production of two groups of synchronizing signals of different frequency by two generators Tx, Ty, each of which has its own current supply Nx, Ny and is connected to a screening-grid or five-electrode amplifying-valve 19x, 19y which is free of reaction. The generators, which are of the type described in Specification 459,602, pass positive impulses to the amplifier through a grid-current limiting resistance 22x, 22y. The discharge of the generating-circuit takes longer than a period of the controlling frequency and a potentiometer 26 adjusts the amplitude of the controlling- frequency and thus the frequency of the impulses. A part of the controlling-potential of the generator Tx of higher frequency is superposed on the controlling-potential of the lower-frequency generator Ty by a coupling 33, 34, which may be disconnected at 35, and the low-frequency controlling potential is freed from harmonics by a low-pass filter 30, 31. For interlaced scanning a first harmonic of the line frequency is passed through this coupling to control the image-change frequency. A resistance 36 keeps the line frequency from the coupling.
