466,873. Receptacles for cooling. GRENIER, R. Sept. 4, 1935, No. 24664. Void. Convention date, Sept. 5, 1934. [Class 29] Ice-cream packets 1, Fig. 1, or other goods are stored and transported in a heat insulated box containing blocks 5 of solid carbon dioxide separated from the goods by layers 6 of kapok, wool, cork, cellulose paper or other insulation of such thickness as to prevent overcooling. In the case of the rectangular cardboard box shown in Fig. 1, layers of insulation are arranged also outside the blocks of carbon dioxide and the box is provided with an insulated covering 4. A cylindrical container may be made by rolling a sheet of corrugated cardboard provided with spaced strips of felt 8, and closing the open ends by pads of insulation. The whole may be held together by rubber rings and a handle 13 may be fitted.
