[Class 37] The dielectric 1 of a condenser is made from a fired mix ture of preferably 80 per cent magnesium oxide and 20 per cent beryllium oxide. Metal coatings 2 are formed on the dielectric as by spraying or by chemical or galvanic deposition &c., and to these coatings may be bent back at the edges as at 3. The dielectric sheets may have thickened edges 4.
