Accumulator grids are made from an alloy containing 97 per cent of lead and 3 per cent of mercury. The Provisional Specification refers to an alloy of lead containing 3 per cent of mercury and 1 per cent of zinc. Specification 193,087, [Class 82 (i)], is referred to.
