[Class 37] For tuning wireless and like circuits a relatively large condenser capable of being set and positively located at a number of predetermined positions giving substantially equal increments of capacity is associated with a smaller variable condenser of total capacity equal to or only slightly greater than that of one increment of the larger condenser. Preferably, the larger condenser is located in the various capacity steps by a spring-pressed ball 19 fitting into one of a series of holes or indentations 18 on a disc 17 on the rotor spindle 13.
