Abstract

463,284. Foam baths. JACKSON, J. Dec. 2, 1935, No. 33305. [Class 47 (ii)] A liquid-receiving receptacle is interposed between the spraying device and the bath structure in an apparatus for producing foam baths of the kind comprising a bath structure, a spray producing device located over the bath structure and in close proximity thereto, and a motor driven pump by means of which foam producing liquid is extracted from the bath, and is passed into the spray producing device and discharged under pressure in the form of jets. The spray impinges on the liquid in the receptacle and the foam so formed flows in the form of a cascade into the bath. In one form of the invention the liquid is sprayed from a perforated tube d on to a shelf c below the level of the bath roll b. In a modification, a trough e is secured to the pipe f so that the jets from the nozzle g impinge upon it. Specification 434,931 is referred to in the Provisional Specification.
