Abstract
An organo-mercury compound of therapeutic properties is prepared by treating 1-phenyl-2 : 3-dimethyl - 4 - sulphamino - 5 - pyrazolone with mercuric oxide in the presence of sulphuric acid and sodium bisulphite. An example is given. Specifications 29066/12 and 301,023, [both in Class 2 (iii)], are referred to.
