462,310. Uniting by fusion ; brazing. TIBBENHAM, L. J. Sept. 5, 1935, No. 24773. [Class 83 (iv)] In welding or brazing ferrous or non-ferrous metals by torch methods, use is made of a homogeneous bronze welding or brazing rod or wire of which the superficial area per unit length is substantially greater, e.g. 20 per cent greater than the superficial area per unit length of a circular rod &c. of the same crosssectional area. The rod may be of substantially triangular cross-section and may consist of silicon bronze. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to U.S.A. Specification 1,985,142.
