[Class 141] The front of a corset a, corselet, or similar garment for ladies' wear having a side opening b is provided with a central steel c and with a number of flexible spiral steels d arranged in alternate lateral relation with flat steels e of limited resilience, the former extending to the top of the garment and the latter from the waistline downwards. A similar arrangement of alternate flexible spiral and flat-steels may be provided on either side of the front busks of a corset having a central front opening.
