Abstract

460,270. R÷ntgen-ray tubes. AJKAY, F. R., and BITTERA, J. May 20, 1935, No. 35080/36. Divided out of 460,181, under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Nov. 20, 1935. [Class 39 (i)] The cathode b of a R÷ntgen-ray tube is heated by induction from a high - frequency coreless induction coil d surrounding the tube. The temperature of the cathode may be regulated by moving an adjustably-mounted coil or by altering the intensity or frequency of the current through the coil. Specification 299,735, [Class 39 (i)], is referred to.
