[Class 132 (iii)] [See also Group XVII] A constructional toy such as a dolls' house or a collapsable box, which may be convertible into a dolls' house, is formed from sheets of cardboard 11, 12, 13 held together at their edges by right angle or other section junction plates 16 having holes 19 through which pass bifurcated fasteners 18. The ends of each junction plate 16 are slit to form tabs 17 which are doubled over. The tabs 17 may be formed or provided with inwardly directed pips or projections so as to grip the sheets. The floor comprises a cardboard sheet 20, Fig. 2, having its edges flanged at 21 and held in place by tabs 23 and bifurcated fasteners 22, Figs. 1 and 2. In the modified construction shown in Fig. 3, either of the tabs 17 at one or each end of the junction plate 16 is subdivided by slitting at 24, the portion 25 being bent at right angles to the flange of the plate to provide a floor support. The sheets may be coloured and/or marked by colour printing on both sides to represent the exterior and interior of the house or suitable representations may be printed on paper and applied to the sides of the cardboard sheets. The sheets may have openings 14 to represent windows and doors may be formed by slitting a sheet to produce a flap 15. The end sheets 13 may be rectangular and the house provided with a flat roof for easy packing or so that several houses can be placed together to form one large dolls' house of several rooms. The upper parts of the end sheets 13 may be triangular as at 26 to accommodate a roof sheet of V-section held in place by bifurcated fasteners passed through it and the corners of the junction plates 16. Two or more walls of the house may be formed as a single sheet suitably folded to receive the junction plates or separate sheets may be permanently attached together by flexible material such as canvas or other fabric or by cords passed through eyelets or openings in their edges. Collapsable boxes may be formed as above described, and may be suitably marked and coloured internally and /or externally for use as dolls' houses when empty.
