458,520. Gangways. CAMPBELL, D., 7, Beech Avenue, Glasgow, and CRAIG, T. J., Stately Hill, Buchlyvie, Stirlingshire. Aug. 14, 1935, Nos. 22878/35 and 14674/36. [Class 113 (i)] [See also Group X] A gangway comprises interlocking transverse floor members resting upon parallel steel rails and provided on their undersides with means which detachably engage the rails to position the latter and prevent transverse movement of the floor members. In the form shown, the floor members comprise cross-bars or battens 8 provided on their upper surfaces with foot grips 11 which serve also to interlock the members, and lugs 9 are bolted to their undersides to engage the sides of the supporting rails 5. According to a modification, the floor members may be interlocking corrugated metal sheets.
