Abstract
A paint-removing composition is prepared by superposing upon a layer of soft soap, dry soda ash and lime, adding boiling water to cause the soda ash and lime to react, then mixing the whole of the ingredients, and subsequently adding ammonia. Further water may be added to produce a composition of the desired consistency.
