Abstract

455,577. Stoppering bottles. LARRIEU, E., 97, Rue Lagrange, Bordeux, Gironde, France. Feb. 25, 1936, No. 5676. [Classes 125 (ii) and 125 (iii)] Plug - stoppers comprising cylindrical corks &c. with heads are applied in situ to bottles. The corks are compressed and driven through a hole T until their upper ends are flush with the top of the wooden ring 1. A radial recess is provided in the head A for inserting the rings 1. The rings are centred by fingers &c. C which are controlled by springs D.
