453,721. Radiators for heating buildings. BEESTON BOILER CO., Ltd., and SMITH, G., Beeston, Nottinghamshire. June 17, 1935, No. 17363. [Class 64 (ii)] In a heat radia. tor of the panel type, a flat unbroken radiating surface 1 is backed by triangular waterways 2 which may have corrugated walls. Lugs or brackets 7 are provided at the back of the radiator to receive bolts 8 which secure the radiator to a wall 9. The area of the surface 2 which is backed by waterways, including the thickness of their side walls, is <1>/3 to ¢ that of the total area, and the inside width of each waterway is at least 1“ times as great as the inside depth. Specification 297,043, [Class 64 (ii)], is referred to.
