[Class 3 (ii)] A sign plate comprises a sheet 1 of a transparent or translucent synthetic resm provided with raised integral letters 3, the portions of the sheet between the letters being covered by a layer 4 of opaque material. The sign plate is preferablv mounted at the front of an illuminated casing and may be formed by milling or moulding. The letters have a substantially rectangular cross-section which may taper as shown. Specification 294,225, [Class 3 (ii)], is referred to.
