Abstract
450,872. Heavy - current switches; switchboards. BRITISH THOMSONHOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. Jan. 28, 1935, No. 2782. Convention date, Jan. 29, 1934. [Class 38 (v)] The movable contact 7 is pivoted to a lever 2 connected to a lever 1 which carries a camroller 6 co-operating with a cam 5 on a shaft 4. The lever 1 passes between a pair of strips, as 3, of sheet iron provided with an insulating covering which may be formed by moulded material pressed round them. The various switch parts are attached to the strips 3, and the strips of a number of switches may be mounted on a frame 9 to form a switching plant.
